Well, my MS has been causing my hands to be pretty shaky lately and I wanted the helmet of this custom to really stand out, so I commissioned the work to a friend of mine in Britain…WOW!! Kev knocked this helmet out of the park, now to show his paint job proper respect I’m going to have to bring my A game to the rest of her body armor!

Thank you again Kev for the help, you’re awesome!!

Little more done on the grey parts of her armor…got some shading and chips added and I still need to address the blue pieces, but all in time.

Today I primed the model for her paint job and put down the base colors to her armor…about half way there.

For this model I used the 30th Anniversary Collection Isabet Reau figure for her torso and arms, the CW11 Aurra Sing’s waist and upper legs and the CW29 Mandalorian Warrior for her helmet and lower legs. Still a bit of putty work to do, but at least I have all the parts are now together.

Phase II Clone Commander Thire

As I works slowly on assembling and painting my Bo-Katan custom, I know that my hobby ADD will kick in now and again and today was no exception. So I replaced the Phase I helmet (and head) with a repainted Phase II helmet. I am pretty pleased with how it came out as the color matches the stock paint job almost exactly.

Bo-Katan Helmet (WIP)

Well, after several failed attempts to taper the vertical part of the ‘T’ visor I abandoned that idea. I did manage to add the range finder from the concept Boba Fett helmet and it fits nicely onto the CW helmet without looking out of place, I also reshaped the eye part of the visor and added the ‘beek’ with green stuff…so this it where is stands as of now, primed and awaiting it’s paint job.

Bo-Katan Helmet (Concept WIP)

Looking at the animated Mandalorian helmets, with the detail smaller than their realistic counterparts, I began working out in my head how I want to attempt to tackle Bo-Katan’s helmet. So by working on the leftover concept Boba Fett helmet I had in my parts bin I added bits of green stuff and sculpted the shorter eye sockets and the “beak” to the T visor. I knew that trying to round out the visor’s eye sockets is going to mess this helmet up so I just tried slanting them a bit to see how it would look.

Here is what I have as a working concept piece…now if I have the guts I think I might try to tackle the animated helmet.
